Artondale

Artondale is a small coastal town in Washington state, serving as a gateway to the nearby coastal waters. While the town itself is not a major dive hub, it offers access to the North Pacific via local charters and nearby coastal sites. With around twenty dive sites in the surrounding area and several centers within a reasonable radius, divers can base day trips from the region to explore temperate, current-prone waters, kelp-dominated habitats, and rocky reefs typical of the Pacific Northwest. Expect cold water, variable visibility, and wildlife such as salmon, rockfish, and occasional seals; conditions can be challenging and are best suited for divers with appropriate exposure protection and experience in temperate diving.
