Tucson

Tucson is a desert city in southern Arizona. It is not a coastal diving destination, and there is no immediate access to saltwater diving from the city itself. The elevation is high (about 2,400 feet / 733 meters). Nearby freshwater dive options exist only as very limited, man-made or specialized sites rather than traditional dive destinations, and would be pursued mainly for training or hobby diving rather than as a regional dive hub. Most diving activity in the area centers on training with the two local dive centers, or trips further afield to legitimate diving locations within the Southwest.
