Santander

Santander is a coastal city in Cantabria, northern Spain, facing the Bay of Biscay. It serves as a gateway to the region’s coastline and its scenic beaches, with a few nearby dive options along the northern Basque and Cantabrian coastlines. The city itself isn’t a major diving hub, and there are no local dive centers listed, but divers can access nearby offshore sites and wrecks from larger ports along the coast. For freshwater immersion or training, options are outside the city in inland quarries or pools, rather than in Santander itself.
