Torrox

Torrox is a coastal town in southern Spain within Andalusia. It sits along the Alboran Sea and serves mainly as a gateway for visitors exploring the Costa del Sol region. Diving in the area is limited locally: there are a couple of dive centers within reach for coastal snorkeling and introductory training, and nearby offshore sites along the Alboran Sea are typically accessed by day boats from larger hubs. The nearby Monachil river represents a freshwater feature a short distance away, but it is not a diving site. If you’re chasing drift dives or reef walls, you’ll likely need to travel to better-known dive destinations along the Andalusian coast.
