Giseong Myeon

Giseong-myeon is a township in North Gyeongsang Province, South Korea. The area itself is inland and not a direct diving hub. Nearby, the South Korean coastline along the East Sea (Sea of Japan) offers coastal diving destinations, but within the township limits there is no active dive scene. For divers, access would typically involve traveling to coastal towns or regional dive centers in the province or nearby cities to reach shore dives, wrecks, or popular reef sites along the east coast. Given there are a few dive sites regionally, conditions are variable and largely depend on the broader East Sea currents and sea state.
