Žilina

Žilina is a city in northern Slovakia, set inland in the Žilina Region. It is not a coastal diving hub, and local diving activity is limited. Nearby freshwater options exist in the region, but they are outside the city and would mainly interest divers seeking training or occasional freshwater outings. For divers visiting Slovakia, the more active dive destinations are found farther to the south and along Slovakia’s river systems or in neighboring countries. The city itself serves as a cultural stop and gateway to the surrounding mountains and rivers.
