2 Mai

2 Mai is a coastal village in Romania on the western coast of the Black Sea, near Limanu. It’s not a major diving hub, but the nearby Black Sea coast offers access to local shore dives and short boat trips from the region. The area is known for its beaches and dune landscapes, with limited but available diving options close to shore, mainly during the warmer months. Nearby freshwater options exist in the region, including Lacul Mangalia, used by local divers for practice and acclimatization. With few dedicated dive centers in the immediate area, divers typically organize trips via centers based in larger nearby towns or coastal hubs along the Black Sea, or stay in Limanu–2 Mai for access to shore-based dive sites and summer activities.
