Vieques is an island municipality off the east coast of Puerto Rico. While it has a handful of dive centers on the island, the local diving activity is modest compared with main hubs. The surrounding Caribbean Sea offers reef and wall dives around the island, but the primary draw here is the coastal scenery, beaches, and bioluminescent bay experiences. For divers, access is by ferry or small plane from the mainland, with limited on-island infrastructure beyond basic tourism services.
