Sesimbra

Sesimbra is a coastal town in Portugal known as a gateway to nearshore diving along the Arrábida coast and the Sesimbra Bay. It hosts several dive centers that offer shore dives and boat trips to local reefs, walls, and abundant marine life typical of the Iberian Atlantic. The area features calm conditions close to shore, clear water in good seasons, and a marine environment that supports a variety of fish, octopus, and occasional larger pelagic sightings further offshore. The town itself is a practical base for divers visiting the Setúbal region, with access to nearby nature reserves, beaches, and freshwater opportunities slightly farther afield.
