Limasawa

Limasawa is a small coastal town in Southern Leyte, Philippines. It’s known for being the site of early historical sea travel and has access to nearby coral reefs and calm survey areas in the Philippine Sea. The town itself is not a large diving hub, but visitors can base themselves here to reach nearby dive sites along the southern Leyte coast and nearby islands. Expect warm tropical waters, generally gentle currents in accessible sites, and typical reef and pelagic encounters at nearby spots. Local diving options are limited in-town, so most divers rely on day trips or small local operators from larger nearby towns for trips to surrounding reefs and wrecks along the coast.
