Northern Samar

Northern Samar offers access to diverse coastal and island diving along the northeastern tip of the Philippines, with warm tropical waters and generally calm conditions around several fringing reefs and small wrecks. Diving hubs are limited in this inland administrative region, but nearby coastal towns give entry points to dives in the Philippine Sea and the North Pacific. Expect macro critters, small reef fishes, and vibrant but modest reef systems typical of the region, with current and visibility variable by site. The two listed cities, San Isidro and Erenas, anchor local access; visitor services are limited compared with major dive destinations, so plan logistics accordingly.
