Miladhoo

Miladhoo in the Maldives sits within the Laccadive Sea on the Indian Ocean as part of the South Miladhunmadulu administrative region. It’s a small island community with limited on-site diving infrastructure; divers typically access nearby atolls and dive centers via regional hubs and local boats. With around a dozen local dive sites spread across the atoll system, the area offers reef walls, lagoons, and macro opportunities, but the island itself is more notable for its access to surrounding dive routes than for a large local dive scene. Expect warm tropical waters, good visibility, and abundant marine life typical of Maldivian reefs, along with currents that can influence drift diving at some sites. Training and day trips are often arranged through larger resorts and nearby atoll centers.
