Dhidhdhoo

Dhidhdhoo in the Maldives is a small island town that serves as a local gateway for diving in the Baa Atoll area. While the island itself is not a major dive center, the surrounding atolls offer reef dives, wall sites, and chances to see reef fish, turtles, and occasional manta outside peak seasons. With a couple of dive centers on the atoll edge reachable by short boat hops, divers typically base themselves here to access nearby dive sites, tides permitting. The area is characterised by warm tropical waters, clear visibility most days, and a mix of shallow lagoons and dramatic drop-offs just offshore.
