Dungun

Dungun is a coastal town in Terengganu on the east coast of Malaysia, facing the South China Sea. It serves primarily as a gateway to nearby dive sites along the Terengganu coast. With a single local dive centre and several nearby access points, divers typically base themselves here for day trips to nearby reefs and coastal wrecks or to travel to larger hubs along the coast. The area features typical tropical Malay reefs with gentle conditions suitable for guided shore and boat dives, as well as local marine life common to the region.
