Shimoni

Shimoni is a small coastal village in Kwale County, Kenya. It’s not a major diving hub and there are very few, if any, traditional dive sites directly within the village. The broader Kenyan coastline offers reef diving and marine life, but in Shimoni itself the diving activity is more limited and typically accessed via nearby ports or day trips from coastal centers. If visiting for snorkeling or light water activities, expect warm tropical waters and general Indian Ocean coastal scenery. For serious diving, travelers usually head to better-known hubs along the coast with established dive centers and local operators.
