Hagi

Hagi is a historic coastal city in Yamaguchi Prefecture, on the western coast of Honshu facing the Sea of Japan. It is not a major diving hub, and local diving activity is limited. Nearby coastal access exists along the west coast, but there are no well-known dive sites or active dive centers listed within the city itself. For divers, the area offers cultural sights and easy access to regional coastal areas; if you’re pursuing diving, you’d typically travel to broader prefecture or coastal towns with established centers and reef or wreck experiences. Freshwater options are not a feature of the city, and water conditions can vary with the seasons.
