Itoman

Itoman is a coastal city on Okinawa's southern tip, facing the East China Sea. It’s a gateway for local coastal diving near Naha and the Kerama Islands; however, the city itself has limited dive infrastructure with a few centers nearby and access to popular reefs and wrecks along Okinawa’s southern coast. If you’re diving, plan boat trips from nearby ports and be prepared for typical subtropical conditions, with clear water, warm temperatures, and abundant reef life in surrounding sites. For freshwater options, the area is not a dive-rich inland destination.
