Nearby dive centers offer shore and boat trips to nearby reefs and rocky bottoms, with conditions typically temperate to cool and visibility that varies with currents. The area provides access to local dive sites and freshwater options are limited nearby; Lake Hinuma is a short distance away and not a primary diving site for the town itself.
