Olbia sits on the northeastern coast of Sardinia along the Tyrrhenian Sea. While the city itself is not a large dive hub, it serves as a gateway to Sardinia’s well-known nearshore reefs, wrecks, and blue-water sites reachable by short boat trips. With a couple of local dive centers, divers can access shore and boat dives along the coast, plus standard PADI/SSI training options. The nearby Tyrrhenian waters offer clear visibility, moderate currents, and abundant marine life typical of Sardinia, including groupers, morays, and various reef species.
