South Andaman

South Andaman is a coastal district in the Andaman and Nicobar Islands, India. While the main population centers lie on land, the region provides access to the Andaman Sea with a number of offshore dive sites and preserved reefs nearby. In this specific city area there are limited directly within-city dive operations, but there are nearby hotspots across the archipelago and several local dive centers offering charters to offshore reefs and wrecks. For freshwater diving, options are not located in this city and would require travel to suitable inland sites in India, but those are outside the typical inbound dive trips for the area.
