Faragas

In a region known for clear blue water, typical diving involves temperate Mediterranean conditions, with visibility commonly ranging for coastal sites and marine life typical of the Aegean (sponges, octopus, small reef fish). While the area has multiple dive sites within reach, this city itself is more a gateway than a dedicated major diving hub; divers usually base themselves here to reach the surrounding reefs and rocky underwater topography by boat or shore entry.
