Angers

Angers is far from the coast and has no local sea diving. It is a historic inland city near the Loire Valley, with a river in its broader region and limited diving relevance. For divers visiting the area, the closest access points are typically coastal sites along the Bay of Biscay or the Atlantic coast, reached by a few hours’ drive, offering shore and boat dives at established dive centers. Inland, the Maas river in the wider region is not a typical diving site, so local diving activity is largely training or nearby freshwater quarry fishing-lac style sites outside the city.
