Rouen

Rouen is a historic city in Normandy, northern France, situated inland along the Seine River. It is not a coastal diving destination, and there are no local sea dive sites. The surrounding region offers freshwater diving options in flooded quarries or rivers further afield, but within the city limits diving relevance is limited to training facilities and nearby aquatics centers. The Scarpe River provides local freshwater context, but it does not offer notable diving within reach of Rouen. For divers, Rouen serves best as a cultural gateway with easy access to coastal dive hubs in Normandy or the broader French coast within a couple hours’ drive.
