Most diving activity centers around the coast near Saint-Nazaire and the nearby towns, offering shore dives and short boat trips to nearby shallower sites. Expect temperate to cool water, moderate visibility, and habitats typical of temperate Atlantic bays, with species such as bass, wrasse, blennies, and common octopus. The region is more notable for its coastline, fishing heritage, and access to nearby offshore areas than for major dive attractions.
