Sassenage

Sassenage is a small town in the Isère region of southeastern France, near Grenoble. It is not a coastal diving destination and has no local dive sites. The elevation of about 205 meters places it well inland on the western edge of the Alps. Nearby diving opportunities are limited to the broader Rhône-Alpes region, with freshwater quarry or pool-based training options available through local dive centers, should divers travel to nearby centers for courses or practice. If you’re targeting sea diving, you’d typically head toward the Mediterranean coast or other coastal hubs in France.
