Talence

Talence is a suburb of Bordeaux in southwestern France. It sits inland near the Garonne river and is not a coastal diving hub. There are no local dive sites within the city, and diving activity in the area is limited to training opportunities offered by nearby centers and occasional freshwater quarry dives further afield. For divers, the closest access to seawater diving is via Bordeaux and its coastal bays, or organized trips from the broader Nouvelle-Aquitaine region. The city itself is better known for its university life and wine culture than for on-site diving.
