Deux Sèvres

Deux-Sèvres is an inland administrative region in western France. It has no direct access to saltwater bodies or open-ocean diving; the region is mainly known for its rural landscapes, rivers and inland tourism. Within its boundaries, diving opportunities are limited and typically center on freshwater sites near towns or in neighboring coastal areas of Nouvelle-Aquitaine where divers travel for ocean experiences. Access tends to be road-based from Poitou-Charentes and nearby departments, with centers and clubs focusing on training and freshwater or close-to-coast activities.
