Access is straightforward from Tampere via road and rail to larger regional hubs, but diving is not a defining feature of this region. For divers, the Gulf of Bothnia and coastal Finland provide the real arena to explore a mix of brackish to saline waters only in coastal zones, while inland areas focus on city life and nature trips.
