Sonsonate

Sonsonate is a coastal administrative region in El Salvador. The Pacific coast offers modest tropical dive opportunities with sandy bottoms, gentle currents, and limited reef structure. Nearby access points on the coast provide basic shore dives and potential boat trips to nearby sites. The region is more notable for its cultural heritage and beaches than for world-class diving, but divers may encounter small reef formations, tropical fish, and occasional pelagic activity at exposed sites.
