Zollboot

Zollboot is a small local dive site near the Swiss towns of Tägerwilen, Bottighofen and Berlingen along the shore of Lake Constance. The site is typically shallow with straightforward entry from the shore or a nearby boat launch, making it suitable for recreational dives and training. Expect clear freshwater conditions typical of Lake Constance, with good visibility at times and a generally calm environment. The underwater topography includes gentle shelves and sandy patches with occasional submerged debris that can act as microhabitats. Common freshwater lake life includes various small fish, perch, and lake-dward invertebrates, while the surrounding shoreline features reed beds and reeds along the margin. Access is convenient from the nearby towns and can be combined with a lake-side visit to the region.
