Willy’s Hole is a shallow to mid-depth reef drop located near Utila and just offshore of Up Cay. The site is characterized by a rounded, sandy-bottom channel with assorted hard corals and small ledges that create pockets for critters. Entry is typically from a gentle slope or by approaching from a boat, with visibility varying seasonally. Common Western Caribbean species such as reef fish, small tropical snappers, angelfish, and occasional moray eels can be found, along with patchy sea fans and soft corals on the structure. It suits beginner to intermediate divers seeking a relaxed reef experience and simple navigation.
