Wellness Alm

Wellness Alm is a local dive site near the lake towns around Salzkammergut. The site sits on freshwater conditions with gentle drop-offs and shallow to mid-depth areas suitable for training, calibration dives, and exploratory snorkeling from shore or a short transfer from nearby towns. Access is straightforward from the lakefront communities of St. Wolfgang im Salzkammergut, Sankt Gilgen, and Gschwand, all within a few kilometers and under a 15-minute drive. The area is known for calm water, limited visibility fluctuations, and generally calm conditions suitable for recreational divers and beginners to practice buoyancy, safety stops, and simple underwater navigation. Expect clear freshwater, floating vegetation near the margins, and a peaceful setting ideal for short, relaxed dives close to town.
