University Of Balamand Reef

University of Balamand Reef is a shallow coastal site near the city of Monsef, with easy access just off the shore. The reef structure features typical Mediterranean rocky outcrops and patches of seagrass, hosting a range of small reef fish, wrasses and damselfish. Visibility and currents are usually moderate, making it suitable for beginner to intermediate divers and for training dives close to the city. The site is commonly used by local centers for practice and guided shore entries. Nearby towns such as Monsef and Berbara provide convenient access, with Rihani a short drive away for divers staying further along the coast.
