Palm Harbor

Turtle Ridge

Turtle Ridge is a shallow yet varied reef site off Palm Harbor, within easy reach for local divers. The topography features a gently sloping seagrass bed that transitions to low-lying coral and rubble zones, with a couple of small ridges that create micro-areas of structure. Visibility is commonly good in calm conditions, and currents are typically mild, suitable for intermediate and beginner divers with supervision. Expect common Western Atlantic coral-reef species, including tropical damselfish, parrotfish, blennies, and spur-and-grouper groups around the ridges. The site is commonly visited from nearby dive centers in Palm Harbor, Tarpon Springs and Dunedin, making it a convenient option for a half-day dive in shallow water.
