Tuble Marine Sanctuary

Tuble Marine Sanctuary is a sheltered coastal site offering calm conditions and easy access for shore dives. Located near the town of Tuble, the sanctuary features a shallow platform with gentle slopes that gradually deepen, making it suitable for beginner and experienced divers alike. Expect clear water and a variety of coastal reef life typical of temperate to subtropical zones, including small schooling fish, wrasses, damselfish, and occasional octopus and sea urchins along rocky outcrops. Entry is usually from a calm beach or jetty, with a relaxed drift possible on flatter days. Respect the protected status of the sanctuary by avoiding touching wildlife and leaving no trace. Access is convenient from nearby towns such as Saavedra (about a mile away) and Ronda (roughly a 10–15 minute drive), making it a convenient option for a half- or full-day dive.
