Toy Box / Playpen is a shallow, gentle dive site in the coastal area near Palm Beach Shores. Typical depths are shallow, with easy entry from the beach or a small access point, suitable for beginners or safety stops. The site’s topography often features sandy patches with occasional structural features, such as small ledges or rubble, which attract common coastal species. Expect calm conditions, moderate visibility, and typical tropical Atlantic reef-associated life: small to mid-sized groupers, snappers, grunts, and reef-dwelling wrasses, along with snails, lobsters, and flounder in sandy pockets. It’s a straightforward site for a relaxed dive or a quick training dive when weather permits.
