Tombant Sakouli

Tombant Sakouli is a shallow to mid-depth wall-like drop-off site near Bandrélé on Mayotte. The site typically features a sloping hard-bottom with vertical relief that drops toward deeper channels, providing a sheltered, easy entry and a straightforward drift along the wall. Visibility can vary with currents, and calm conditions are preferred for beginners. The local marine life commonly includes typical Mayotte reef species such as damselfish, angelfish, snappers, moray eels, and occasional reef sharks in larger study areas, with healthy hard corals and soft corals along ledges. Access is quick from Bandrélé, making it a convenient option for a half-day dive when weather allows.
