The Blade

The Blade is a shallow reef site near a small coastal area. Access is straightforward from nearby towns, with easy entry and a relaxed current typical of local reef dives. Expect a sculpted underwater ridge with sloping sand along the sides and small overhangs that shelter a variety of small reef fish. The site is suitable for beginners and for practicing buoyancy, though visibility and conditions can vary with weather. Common Western Atlantic/Caribbean-leaning species may include sergeant majors, parrotfish, damselfish, and several species of grunts and snappers, with bare patches of sand providing room to swim. This is a general reef dive with modest depth and a gentle to moderate profile.
