Tarpon Reef

Tarpon Reef is a shallow, tropical reef site in Caribbean-like waters. Accessible from nearby coastal towns, it features a gently sloping reef with sandy patches and a healthy cover of hard corals. Expect clear to good visibility in calm conditions, with currents typically mild and suitable for recreational divers. The reef supports a variety of reef fish, small macro life, and occasional pelagic activity near the edge. Entry is on a sandy bottom and a short ascent/descent covers the structure. This site is well suited for drift or wall dives from nearby facilities when conditions permit, with local dive centers offering guided trips and training dives for beginners and more experienced divers alike.
