St. George Beach is a shoreline dive site in western Cyprus, known for easy entry from the calm shore and a shallow reef edge. The site offers a sandy-silt bottom with patches of rocky relief that drop gradually, typically staying within a shallow depth range suitable for beginners and those doing drift or training dives. Expect Mediterranean marine life common to Cyprus coasts, including damselfish, wrasse, and occasionally octopus or smaller reef fish around the rocky outcrops. Conditions are generally straightforward, with visibility often moderate to good on clear days and water temperatures typical of the area. Access is simple from nearby towns such as Kissonerga and Paphos City, with several trails and beach accesses within a short drive. This site is suitable for regular calm-water dives, snorkelers transitioning to scuba, and quick shore dives during a half- or full-day outing.
