Spyros

Spyros is a shallow coastal site near Portimão, Portugal, known for easy access and pleasant conditions for recreational divers. The dive typically starts from a sandy to rocky seabed with gentle slope and features a mix of small reefs, walls, and patches of seagrass in the nearshore area. Visibility is usually good in calm conditions, making it suitable for training dives and guided days. Expect typical Algarve marine life such as wrasses, parrotfishes, lampshars, and occasional octopus or small groupers around rocky outcrops. The site is commonly used by local dive centres for orientation dives and practice in entry/exit techniques, rather than a landmark destination.
