Secca Dei Gemelli

Secca dei Gemelli is a shallow to mid-depth rocky seabed dive site off the Ligurian coast near Bergeggi. The site comprises twin rocky pinnacles that drop to moderate depths, with surrounding slopes and patches of Posidonia meadow typical of the Western Mediterranean. Access is straightforward from the coast, with a boulder-strewn entry and a relaxed current profile that suits beginner to intermediate divers. Expect clear water in good conditions, with common Western Mediterranean fauna such as groupers, damsels, breams, moray eels, octopus, and varied macro life on the rocky outcrops. The site is popular for underwater photography due to the clear water and tessellated reefs between the rocks. Depths are commonly shallow to moderate, making it a good option for training dives and casual wall and reef exploration.
