Secains

Secains is a coastal dive site near Sant Feliu de Guíxols, Castells d'Aro, and Calonge i Sant Antoni on the Costa Brava. The site is typically accessed from these nearby towns, within a short drive, and is characterized by a shallow to mid-depth profile suitable for recreational dives. Expect Mediterranean rocky substrates with opportunities to explore small reefs, patches of posidonia meadows, and basic underwater topography such as small overhangs and sandy gaps. Visibility is usually fair to good in stable conditons, and water temperatures follow the typical temperate Mediterranean pattern. The site is suitable for open-water training, drift or wall dives depending on current, and can accommodate divers with varying levels of experience. Local marine life commonly includes groupers, wrasses, octopus, moray eels, and various juvenile fish, with a generally calm, coastal dive experience when sea conditions allow.
