Sec Du Caldanu

Sec du Caldanu is a coastal dive site off Corsica, offering a shallow to mid-depth wall and rocky seabed typical of the Calvi area. The site features a gently sloping entry with clear, blue water and easy access from nearby towns. Expect Mediterranean fauna common to the region, including groupers, wrasses, octopus, moray eels and colourful nudibranchs, with posidonia meadows in the shallower zones. Visibility can vary with conditions, and currents are generally mild but can intensify at times. The site is suitable for boat or shore dives and works well for beginners gaining comfort with wall diving, as well as more experienced divers exploring the reef edge and small caves along the drop. Nearby towns such as Lumio, Sant'Ambroggio and Calvi provide ample access and services.
