Sawang

Sawang is a coastal dive site in the region around San Juan. The area offers typical tropical Philippine conditions with warm saltwater and good visibility on average days. Divers can expect a mix of reef and slope structures with healthy coral growth and a variety of small reef fish. Access is straightforward from nearby towns, with shallow entry suitable for check-out dives and more experienced divers able to explore drop-offs at greater depths. The site is commonly visited by local dive centers operating in the San Juan and Siquijor area, often as part of a day trip from nearby towns. When conditions allow, the site provides a relaxed environment for macro life, occasional curious silhouettes of larger reef fish, and standard reef communities found in this part of the Visayas.
