Sant Feliu De Guíxols
Sant Feliux Caves
Sant Feliux Caves is a shallow coastal site near Sant Feliu de Guíxols, best suited for guided reef excursions and beginner to intermediate dives. The site features a network of underwater caverns and fissures within the typical Mediterranean rocky seabed, with sheltered passages that make for relaxed navigation. Expect temperate seawater, generally good visibility, and a gentle mix of marine life common to the Western Mediterranean, such as damselfish, wrasse, octopus and small groupers around rocky ledges. Access tends to be straightforward from nearby beaches, with entry from shore or a short swim over a sandy or gravel bottom. Given its proximity to several towns on the Costa Brava, it serves as a convenient option for local dives after a day of sightseeing.
