Ria De Aldán

The site at the Ria de Aldán offers sheltered, shallow diving along a coastal estuary north of Vigo. With calm seas and generally mild visibility, divers typically explore near-surface habitats and gentle reef structures formed by sand and rocks. Access is straightforward from the nearby towns, and local dive centers in the San Cibrán–Os Carballiños–Rabáns corridor can provide boat or shore dives. Common Mediterranean-like species in this Atlantic region include small wrasse, gobies, octopus, and solitary sea bugs; seagrass beds and sandy patches offer macro opportunities and occasional larger fish.
