Habaraduwa

Reaf Wreck

Reaf Wreck is a local Sri Lankan dive site near the towns of Koggala, Habaraduwa and Talpe. The site sits in shallow coastal waters and is typically accessed from nearby shore or boat launches. It is commonly described as a submerged wreck or debris pile lying in shallow to mid-depths, making it accessible to recreational divers with basic training. Expect a sandy surround with the wreck resting on a gentle bottom, hosting generic reef-associated life typical of the Indian Ocean such as small damsels, wrasse and occasionally moray eels or octopus among scattered rubble. Conditions are subject to tidal influence and visibility can vary, so plan dives with a local operator and check current site notes. This is best treated as a relaxed, entry-level wreck experience close to the southern coast of Sri Lanka.
