Rasdhoo

Rasdhoo Beyru Kandu

Rasdhoo Beyru Kandu is a reef-dominated wall site located off Rasdhoo in the Ari Atoll. Typical conditions are calm, clear water with good viz potential and a gentle drift along the drop-off. The topography features a steep outer wall that starts around 6–12 meters and plunges deeper, with swim-throughs and gullies common along the edge. Expect abundant schooling fish, waiting for encounters with reef species such as parrotfish, wrasse, and unicornfish; occasional turtles and reef sharks may be seen depending on currents. This site suits intermediate to experienced divers due to depth changes and occasional current, but calm days can be accessible to confident intermediate divers. Access is straightforward from local dhoni boats, with shore proximity limited but simple to reach from Rasdhoo. Nearby sites in Ari Atoll offer similar hard coral coverage and vibrant pinnacles.
