Randy’s Reef

Randy’s Reef is a shallow coastal reef site located off Road Town, Tortola, typically reached within a short boat ride from the nearby harbors. The reef features a gentle slope with healthy coral cover, several small overhangs, and patches of seagrass leading to deeper sand. Expect moderate water visibility and typical Caribbean reef life such as damselfish, angelfish, parrotfish, and grunts, with occasional octopus or rays in the shallows. The site is suitable for beginner to intermediate divers, offering easy entry from a shore-based or small boat setup and a relaxed profile around 5–15 meters, with deeper sections down to the mid-teens for more experienced visitors. Drift is uncommon but light currents can occur with tidal changes; plan for a short safety stop near the reef edges.
